IPR awareness: indispensible for enterprises growth

At the beginning of 2008, SASAC of the State Council issued the guidance opinion about the social responsibilities of central enterprises, which stresses the IPR awareness for the first time.

Central enterprises bear close relation to the key industries of our country and strengthening their IPR consciousness is of great significance for national economic growth.

Currently, most of enterprises in China do not have sufficient understanding of intellectual property and strong innovation capabilities as well as have not made a scientific plan for IPR work and established a perfect IPR application and development system. However, the IPR issue has been paid more and more attention in the world.

Developed countries have build a relatively sound IPR protection system. Hence, if the central enterprises do not think much of IPR, they will be at a distinctive disadvantageous.

Therefore, China enterprises should abide by international rules and exploit an IPR internalization way according to China's situation, which is the need of fulfilling social responsibilities and of their own development.

With the development of economic globalization, the problems relating to trade between developed and developing countries becomes more and more. Accordingly, for the growing up of China's enterprises, it is necessary to learn the experiences in IPR of developed countries and multination companies, so as to resolve the existing problems and realize win-win in global economy.
