Several Opinions on Promoting Development through Innovation for Small and Medium Enterprises

The ministry of Science and Technology recently released Several Opinions on promoting development through innovation for small and medium enterprises. According to the opinions, efforts should be striven to guide and encourage guarantee organizations providing security services for the innovation projects or the industrialization projects of independent IPRs.

The opinions point out relevant departments should strengthen IPR training for SMEs to improve the IPR awareness and ability to manage the IPR, thus helping improving the IPR management system and training the specialized talents for these enterprises. Relevant branches should provide professional consultation services such as IPR information inquiring and analysis, patent application, IPR protection and dispute handling.
