Beijing IPR pledge loan over 1.3 billion yuan

Since the startup of IPR pledge loan in 2007, Beijing has released 1.315 billion pledge loans. It is learnt from Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office that, the administrative measures of Beijing for revolving fund in disposition of IPR pledge rights is under consideration which will further help banks with risks and offer systematic guarantees to the IPR pledge loan.

According to the principal of Beijing Intellectual Property Office, Beijing established cooperative relationship with Bank of Beijing in May, 2009, and set up a loan limit of 5 billion yuan for SMEs, following the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed with Bank of Communication, Beijing Branch for 2 billion yuan's IPR pledge loan. By the end of last year, the IPR pledge loan in Beijing topped in China as for the amount of projects and the total amount, with no bad debts. [Chinese version is available on Beijing Youth Daily]
