Five overseas copyright-owners of Chinese drama series recently filed a lawsuit against Japanese TV station SkyperfecTV's 785 and 781 Channels who illegally broadcasted those dramas without authorization.
On November 1, the Chinese preparation team of this lawsuit was officially set up. The above five companies instantly joined in the common lawsuit.
In the meantime, the preparation team actively contacted other infringed parties. Some of them did not realize their dramas were illegally broadcasted yet, and they expressed they would conduct a further investigation.
Apart from that, Beijing Association for Radio and TV Program Filming issued a notice to its subordinate film & video companies. Hereto, other five copyright-owners took part in this lawsuit. [Chinese version is available on Beijing Evening News]
