The “Victoria’s Secret” case on Trademark Infringement and Unfair Competition: the First Instance was Settled

Recently, Victoria’s Secret Stores Brand Management, Inc., the owner of the world’s leading lingerie brand “Victoria’s Secret,” sued an investment management company in Shanghai for trademark infringement and unfair competition. Shanghai NO.1 Intermediate People’s Court made the first instance verdict to order the defendant stop the infringement and improper propaganda, compensating 50 million yuan for the economic loss of the plaintiff as well as eliminating the bad impact by publishing a statement.
