The First Internet Innovation and IP Protection Summit to be Held

The “09 First Chinese Internet Innovation and IP Protection Summit” will be held in Hangzhou during October 30 to 31, with the theme of “Innovation, Protection, and Development: Challenges and Opportunities for Chinese Internet under the Financial Crisis”.

The summit is co-hosted by Internet Society of China, China Intellectual Property Research Society, and Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and undertook by Hangzhou Zhaiyi Network Technology Co., Ltd. About 800 attendees will be present, including most eminent experts and scholars home and abroad.

It will discuss three subjects vital to the internet, which are Innovation of the Internet Technology and Application, Protection of Intellectual Property over Internet, Risk Investment of Internet.

In the afternoon on October 30, there is going to be a dialogue between the guests and media, and an awarding ceremony to disclose the host city of the Second Chinese Internet Innovation and IP Protection Summit. [Chinese version is available on People’s Daily Online]
