Mediation Center of ISC works for network copyright

Internet Society of China (ISC) announced to establish its Mediation Center on December 28. Gao Lulin, Former Commissioner of SIPO, Vice Chairman of ISC and Director of Network Copyright Union of ISC serves as Director of the Center.

The Center will handle the civil disputes related to Internet between its members or the members and natural persons, legal persons and other organizations to protect the interests of copyright parties and strive for counterbalance, according to Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Trying Civil Cases Involving the People's Conciliation Agreements, Provisions Concerning the Work of People's Mediation and Articles of ISC.

It is the first time to introduce mediation system into Internet industry in China.

Network Copyright Union of ISC announced to use the standard format for notice-antinotice to implement the standard format issued by SIPO, enhance the enforcement of Internet enterprises, inform the copyright owners to send notice-antinotices according to the standard format, establish express of accepting notice-antinotices in Internet and protect the legitimate interests of the copyright owners.
