NPC deputy: IPR protection promotes TCM industry

Deputy of National People’s Congress (NPC) and Chairman of Lunan Pharmaceutical Group Corporation Zhao Zhi said in a recent interview that the establishment of IPR and standardization system with enterprises as the mainstay is essential to the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine industry.

Zhao said that the government shall make a series of supporting policies, including standards and norms, financing channels, intellectual property rights, market access, legal support, market rules, etc, so as to lay a solid foundation for the modernization of TCM industry.
