National biomedical IPR practice training held in Wuxi City

Lately, National Biomedical IPR Practice Training was conducted in Wuxi, a city of Jiangsu Province and attracted more than 140 participants from 7 provinces and autonomous regions.

Concentrating on IPR creation, protection and management in biomedical field, relevant experts from the Patent Section under the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), Institute of Medicinal Biotechnology Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing Municipal Drug Supervision Administration Bureau and Beijing Municipal No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court lectured on IPR judicial protection, biochemical patent document analysis and patent application practice, the requirements of new Drug Registration and Administration Measures to technical appraisal of genetic medicine, and GMP management in drug production enterprises. During the training, experts also exchanged views with trainees on IPR issues occurring in enterprise R&D, production and sales.
