Chinese Dance Drama Dunhuang, My Dream Land Pirated in U.S.

Recently, Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe in China made an official announcement, stating that the Boston-based Angel Dance Company has been playing its original dance drama Dunhuang, My Dream Land in the U.S. without authorization and have been making illegal profits for the last five years. According to the announcement, Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe required the Angel Dance Company and all staff involved to immediately stop rehearsal, performance and applying any elements related to the drama, including the whole drama and any of its clips, as well as its original music. Besides, the Angel Dance Company is asked to make a public apology and promise not to further infringe any rights own by the Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe and its staff. Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe claimed that it preserves the right to pursue legal actions in course of event development.
