US plans to deem China as big copyright violator

Washington Software, Music and Movie Association lately expressed, they will ask U.S. Trade Representative to take China, Canada and Russia into the list of countries with worst anti-piracy record.

The Association said, in accordance with a conservative estimate, the global loss of American enterprises in piracy in the year 2007 was at least 30 to 50 billion U.S. dollars, and the greatest one is made of 2.98 billion U.S. dollars in China.

In view of pirated music, the loss of American enterprises last year in China reached to 450 million U.S. dollars, and pirated music took 90% of Chinese market.
