2007 is the Sino-Japan Cultural Exchange Year. To strengthen the commercial and cultural exchanges with Japanese counterparts, Zhejiang government, with the support from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), will hold a "China Time-honored Brands Exhibition" in Japan from October 11 to 13.
The exhibition will set up 106 booths for the 53 Zhejiang enterprises that have gained the title of "China Time-honored Brand" in 2006 and 2007. The exhibiting products will cover seven categories including silk & brocade, art and craft, medical care, food & liquor, tea and business services.
The exhibition is the first time for Chinese time-honored brands to go abroad. Starting from this exhibition, Chinese time-honored brands will continue to go out to the international market to display the rich historical and cultural contents in their products and techniques.
