List of Chinese Universities Winning 2008 Patent Bonus Award released

On January 2, 2008, the Subject Research Group on University Appraisement of cuaa.net officially released 2008 Research Report on the Appraisement of Chinese Universities.

Peking University surpassed Tsinghua University for the first time and ranked the first place, followed by Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, Jilin University, Renmin University of China and Sichuan University.

It is learnt that the aim of the appraisement is to weigh the contributions of universities to scientific research and talent cultivation, emphatically embody the gained fruits and nonce capability, supply key references for relevant educational department to institute policies, universities to raise school running level and social influence, students and their parents to select universities, enterprises and institutions to employ talents and invest in education, etc..
