China Patent Week has 670 million yuan turnover

On November 20, the 5-day 1st China Patent Week was ended with turnover of 670 million yuan (US$89.3 million).

The patent week gave prominence to the theme of "establishing IP market together, sharing IP achievements and promoting social harmonious", and reflected public interests.

The patent week took the start of serving individual invention and SMEs, aimed at the transformation of S&T achievements in universities and academies, organized series of activates, including patent technologies and products trade on innovation industry, energy saving, secure production, lectures and forums with the themes of IP industrialization, investing and financing, cooperation meeting of major patent technical projects and products introduction, etc..

The successful operation of the patent week promoted the transformation of a batch of patent technologies, trade of patent products and signing of cooperation projects.

The patent week made a good start in Jinan, signed 330 agreements of intent with value of 1.28 billion yuan (US$170 million).

According to the statistics of 18 provinces and cities, 240 projects were signed during the patent week with turnover of 670 million yuan (US$89.3 million), 2300 enterprises and 2100 individuals attended the meeting and the number of visitors reached 170,00.

The successful operation of China Patent Week played an important role in accelerating the development of IP market of China, boosting the construction of innovation-oriented country, provinces and cities, and promoting transformation of independent IP and development of IP economy.
