Beijing:publicity columns promote Olympic copyright protection

The exclusive right of Olympic with great social influence and good market faith belongs to intangible assents and IP domain. Copyright protection plays an important role in Olympic-related IPR. Therefore, Beijing specially opens publicity columns of Olympic copyright protection to further publicize Olympic copyright protection knowledge and promote the awareness and level of citizens' Olympic copyright protection.

Whether Beijing Olympic Games will become a characteristic and high-level Olympic Game depends on Olympic IPR protection. It is not only a solemn promise of Chinese Government to the international community, but also the essential requirements for promoting the economic, cultural and social development. Beijing Copyright Administration pays attention to Olympic Copyright protection. From this year, Beijing Copyright Administration will open green channel of Olympic copyrights’ registration and protection, organize to carry out special actions of Olympic copyright protection, launch a series of work including the recognition of the demonstration units selling genuine products around the Olympic Games fields and enhance Olympic copyright protection work by launching thematic publicity campaigns.
