Tian Lipu meets Director of WIPO Worldwide Academy

On September 7, Tian Lipu, Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office, met visiting Director of WIPO Worldwide Academy Mr. Mpazi Sinjela and Vice Chancellor of Khartoum University of Sudan Mohamed A.A.E.Sheikh. The both parties talked about cooperation in IPR education field.

Tian Lipu applauded the WIPO Worldwide Academy for attaching attention to China's IPR development. Tian pointed out that the cooperation between the WIPO Worldwide Academy and the SIPO has been increased and deepened in recent years. And he believed the bilateral cooperation will be continuously strengthened after this dialog.

Mr. Mpazi Sinjela conveyed the greeting of the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Dr. Kamil Idris to Commissioner Tian Lipu.

Tian also said, China has more than 50 years' friendly cooperation with Sudan and the both sides will further enhance IPR cooperation based on previous cooperation.

After that, Mr. Mohamed A.A.E.Sheikh introduced the profile of Khartoum University of Sudan, expressed that their university will set up an IPR college and hoped to intensify cooperation with China in IPR talent training. [Chinese version is available on SIPO.gov.cn]
