China and Switzerland sign MOU on Establishing China-Switzerland Joint Committee IP Team

Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai met with Swiss Federal Councilor and Minister of Economics Doris Leuthard in Beijing on July 8.

And on July 9, the two sides signed Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing China-Switzerland Joint Committee Intellectual Property Team. 　

Doris Leuthard said Switzerland believes that since China's WTO accession, it has made great efforts in many aspects, such as opening market, improving law framework, setting up trade mode complying with the WTO rules.

She said, all these measures are encouraging. Switzerland fully confirms China's endeavor and hopes that the measures will be carried on. [Chinese version is available on MOFCOM.gov.cn]
